Snowmobile Trail Conditions

March 21, 2014 Update

Yesterday was the first day of Spring – but it may have been hard to tell - snow amounts received Wednesday varied widely across the state: southern areas received a few inches of heavy, wet snow; central areas received anywhere from 4” to 18” depending on location; and northern areas received 2” to 12”. The forecast is calling for warmer temps tomorrow with rain turning to snow in some areas.

Please note that the rail corridors will remain open through March 31st (signs note 3/15 closing, but DOT has extended the permission date). The rail corridors affected include: Concord-Lincoln Line (exit 18, I-93 to Lincoln); Ossipee Line; Mountain Division (Bartlett and Twin Mountain); Wilton-Bennington; Conway Scenic.

For those of you out there who may have a bob house on a body of water, or know someone who does, remember that they must be removed by the end of the day on April 1st.
