DARTMOUTH-LAKE SUNAPEE region

Update for Tuesday, October 28, 2014:  Past Peak

For the most part, The Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee region has wrapped up the foliage season, but there is still a bit of color to be found out there. The hillsides surrounding Mount Kearsarge are holding onto some last rust, gold, and yellow colors and look quite striking when the sun hits. The same goes for the Connecticut River area, where the last few leaves are muted browns and golds. Take your time and explore the many scenic back roads of this region. You never know when you’ll spot a tree still adorned with a few last red leaves. The region is also home to many art galleries, historic sites, and museums, so make plans to stay for a night or two!
