Shaker Village
Canterbury Shaker Village Motor Coach
Groups have the option of having a guided tour (strongly recommended) or self-guiding. The tour most often taken is our Shaker Story Tour, which lasts about one hour. This tour has its roots in the Shaker community itself, as the Canterbury Sisters helped initiate and develop it. It introduces our visitors to the culture and 200-year history of the Shakers at Canterbury.
