About The Regions

New Hampshire Regions

In New Hampshire, we segment our state into seven tourism regions. Why? Well, quite candidly, from our Great North Woods to our petite Seacoast, there are so many exciting things to see and do that to list them all in one spot could get a bit overwhelming.

Our regions have much in common: history, natural beauty, proud traditions, classic New England towns, and that "Live Free or Die" spirit that sets New Hampshire apart. But each, you'll see, offers distinctive geographical quirks and unique attractions that give that region its own identity.

Before you begin agonizing over which region you'll choose, we want to make it clear: You don't have to! Here in New Hampshire, we’re big on value, and we encourage you to see our diverse landscape and its intriguing possibilities as seven vacations in one!

Consider these regions as chapters in a book; then arrange them to tell a New Hampshire story starring you. Whether you see all seven in one visit or over a lifetime, we hope you'll imagine unforgettable days unfolding in all seven settings … then make plans to visit us soon.
