DescriptionSince 1952 - NH's 1st chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society - the region's premier choral organization, while encompassing the Society's vision of an ever-growing, singing fraternity, drawn together by love of the four-part, a cappella, close-harmony style of music known as barbershop. "This music means so much to me."
We meet every Tuesday night at the grand white church at the top of Keene's Central Square. Enter at the back doors. Listen, watch, join-in and give it a try - we love to sing and it really shows! Any age. Any occupation. Therapeutic! Singing releases you from the worries of the day ... and allows you to enjoy life!
If you sing in the shower, sing in church, or at baseball games - you can sing with us too! We have sheet music and learning CDs (okay - now even MP3's! Sorry no 8-track), section rehearsals and always lots of fun. Tenors, Leads, Baritones and Basses! We perform an annual show, holiday festival of harmony, and Singing Valentines. Plus many community places and events throughout the year. Always fun.
