Description

Valley Artisans Craft Cooperative was inspired by Mabel Young Bartlett. She was born in the 1891 and she and her sisters ran the store as "The Pine Shop" and sold locally made items made from Pine for many years. Valley Artisans members continue to follow Mabel's tradition of marketing locally-made products. It's been through the members of Valley Artisans operating as a cooperative and their commitment and dedication, that we have been able to successfully provide an outlet for local artisans in New Hampshire. We no longer sell just Pine and feature over 40 juried artists at our craft gallery and every month we have a Free Raffle from one of our Artisans. This artist is the "Artist of the Month and is featured in advertisements and at the store, plus they donate an item for the raffle. We do have award winning glass artists, quilting, handbags and accessories, baskets, wood items and toys, fine art paintings and decorative arts, jewelry and baby clothes plus dolls and American Girl Doll clothes. This historic building is a great place to visit and shop at, so stop on by and see why we and the locals love this shop.
