Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm
58 Cleveland Hill Rd.
Preserving the past to educate the future. Situated on the grounds of a 200+-year-old farmstead—still a working farm today—Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm is one of only three country doctor museums in the United States. Your visit will provide a glimpse into the contributions and way of life of country doctors, agricultural, domestic and foodways practices, rural pastimes and New Hampshire lore. Wander through Dr. Remick’s medical office, living quarters & childhood home—the Captain Enoch Remick House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tour the many historic barns & buildings. Engage with farm animals, enjoy heirloom flower, herb & vegetable gardens, pastoral grounds, low-impact hiking trails, covered & open-air picnic spots. Take in views of distinctive Mount Chocorua & varying bird habitats; a photographer’s gem. Visit the Museum Store for locally hand-crafted items, farm-fresh eggs & farm-raised ground meats; vegetables & flowers available at our seasonal farm stand. So much to explore, rediscover and learn at a “back-in-time” admission price of $5 (4 & under, free). Open year-round. Summer: Daily activities & tours. Find us on Facebook.
