Description

Experience firsthand an early NH country home and it's carefully preserved furnishings and artifacts. Located in the historic "Senter" of the community, the Fitts Museum was established around 1885 by the Fitts brothers and donated to the town of Candia in 1901. On display are a variety of items including Civil War artifacts, hand forged tools, textiles and musical instruments. We also offer assistance with local geneology. We offer special displays May through October. Please visit our website for more information about special programs or to request a private tour. Groups are welcomed and admittance is free.
