Description

Located on peninsula on corner of New Castle Island; overlooks Piscataqua River, Atlantic Ocean. State of NH gave the US Fort William & Mary in 1791. Renovations completed, renamed Fort Constitution; ruins are seen today. Picnicking on grounds.
