Description

From 1758 to 1765 this small frame dwelling was the home of the Revolutionary War officer, Gen. John Stark, who won his greatest fame in the Battle of Bennington, August 16, 1777. The home is a good example of the farmhouse of the region and contains period furnishings and museum exhibits. It is owned by the Molly Stark Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
