Description

Monthly events are held for the Brentwood Historical Society. Please keep an eye out for our upcoming events. Call for for event times and information. We hope you see you soon !! Brentwood, New Hampshire is a town of some 4,000 residents in the southeast corner of New Hampshire, 17 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. The first non-native settlers came in 1652 to start a sawmill, drawing their power from one of the excellent waterfalls on the river that runs through the area. The town has always been essentially rural. Even today the residents do their grocery shopping in neighboring Exeter or Epping. Today’s residents come seeking the same spirit and quality of life that have kept the town vital for over 260 years. Our goal is to help keep that spirit alive.
