Description

Come and see this mid-19th Century, Greek revival style home to learn about Mary Baker Eddy's eighteen years in Concord. It was here, at 62 North Sate Street, that she undertook a landmark revision of her major work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, revised several other of her writings, and wrestled with difficult organizational issues that led to her reorganizing her church in Boston. After renting this home for three years, she purchased and remodeled a farmhouse on the outskirts of Concord. She resided in this house (no longer standing), which she named Pleaseant View, for fifteen years.
