Franconia Notch State Park
This spectacular mountain pass traverses between the high peaks of the Kinsman and Franconia mountain ranges. This popular park offers a multitude of recreational opportunities including camping to discovering geological wonders. Lake Tarleton State Park
315-acre Lake Tarleton offers an unguarded swimming beach and fishing and hunting in season. A boat launch is less than a 1/4 mile from the park. Bring a blanket for picnicking in spectacular surroundings; the elevation offers beautiful views of the White Mountain National Forest across the lake. The park is unstaffed but is open to the public year 'round at no charge.
