Football

The hearts of New England's pro football fans may belong to the Patriots, but there's one semi-pro team that's causing a lot of talk: the NH Freedom, part of the Independent Women's Football League.

Yes, it's full tackle, and at thirteen teams and growing, the IWFL promises to have a real impact, in part because every team contributes portions of net game revenue to local charities. The Freedom's season is April to June, with the team based at Manchester's West High School Field.

For information on the IWFL, call 603-432-5439 or 978-764-8567 or visit.

Manchester Wolves

The Manchester Wolves is a professional arena football team, based at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester. The Wolves play in the East Division of the American Conference of the af2 league, which is the minor league of the Arena Football League.
