Fun getting back to nature for mothers, daughters, sisters, best friends, and partners! Canoeing/Walking/Snowshoeing, Fishing/Ice Fishing, Target Archery, Seeking Wild Food, Fire Building, Outdoor Cooking, Shelter Building, & more.
Day 1—Arrive at the Federal House Inn. There will be a presentation at 7:30 p.m.: New Hampshire’s Natural History and Heritage.
Day 2—Breakfast at the Inn. Walk, hike, or snowshoe (depending on time of year and trail conditions) along historic Native American routes. Picnic lunch. Learn about North Woods Survival, and search for wild food. Dinner outdoors or in town (included).
Day 3—Breakfast to go. Early morning fishing or ice fishing (depending on time of year and ice-in/out conditions). Picnic lunch. Target archery, shelter building, fire building, and outdoor cooking—your dinner.
Day 4—After breakfast, a day of canoeing, paddling, poling, and fishing on an historic river route (ice-out), or another snowshoeing or hiking day in New Hampshire’s wilderness. Dinner at the Inn (included)
Day 5— Breakfast at the Inn. Departure.
