Thousands of visitors each year marveled at the natural granite profile set high on Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch State Park. To many, it symbolized the rugged spirit and resolve of New Hampshire's people.
Since it's collapse a charitable trust fund has been established to accept contributions from the public to aid in the revitalization project.
