Bedrock Gardens, is an emerging public garden that integrates unusual botanical specimens and unique sculpture into an inspiring landscape journey.. Occupying about 2/3rds of a 37-acre abandoned dairy farm, is a destination garden distinguished by its horticulture, garden design, and sculpture. The garden is designed as a journey along a three-quarter mile path through distinct garden ‘rooms’ punctuated by pools, fountains, seating areas, pergolas, long vistas, and intimate spaces such as the Tea House with its Japanese-themed garden. Unusual plants occur throughout, collected and nurtured by the co-founders over the past 30 years. Welded steel sculptures on the ground and in the trees are carefully sited to heighten a sense of ‘place’ on the journey. Visit a garden that the Boston Globe described as "one of the most beautiful and intriguing landscapes in New Hampshire". Open May through October, Tuesday through Friday as well as the first and third weekends 10 am to 4 pm. Plan your spring, summer and fall with some time in this oasis. Bring your family and friends outdoors. Preorder a box lunch or bring a picnic. Visit bedrockgardens.org for schedule of offerings. Follow us on Facebook.
