Explore a Season:
Look forward to a quintessential New England village celebration as the Town of Conway kicks off Independence Day festivities on Thursday, July 4th with an afternoon parade scheduled tentatively for 1:30pm, followed by the playing of the National Anthem in Schouler Park. Reserve your space in the park with a blanket and a picnic. Later in the evening Motor Booty Affair will take to the stage in Schouler Park followed by a brilliant display of fireworks scheduled for approximately 9:30pm. The rain date for fireworks is July 5th at 9:30pm. To help ease traffic, on the 4th of July only, ride the Fireworks Express train from Conway. The Conway Scenic Railroad will provide round-trip train transportation from its terminal in Conway to the station in North Conway Village for those who’d like to combine a historic train ride with the day’s events. The 80-passenger Budd car will pick up passengers in Conway at 6:00 and 7:00pm and will return to Conway at approximately 10:15 p.m., following the fireworks.
