Advanced stained Glass with Sue Ries
Overview
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 from 9 am - 4 pm for an Advanced Stained Glass Class with artist Sue Ries.
Ready to take you beginner stained glass skills to the next level? Join Sue Ries for the advanced class! Using the basic beginner skills, come create a 3-dimensional stained glass box. There are different options for the box sides and bottom - including beveled glass. The class includes handling, cutting and grinding glass pieces, applying copper foil, soldering, assembling, and finishing a beautiful stained glass keepsake IN ONE DAY!
All students MUST have taken beginner stained glass, or have experience with cutting and soldering stained glass.
Students will need to bring: cork board at least 16 x 20 inches, masking tape, apron, scissors, thick latex gloves (such as dishwashing gloves, NOT disposable), safety glasses (if you wear glasses you do not need safety glasses), very casual clothes and covered shoes (NO SANDALS), and a gallon-size zip lock bag (additional zip lock bags may also come in handy for storing solder or foil).
Tuition is $55 per student with a $45 materials fee paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Wednesday, April 30th.
