Since his breakthrough with Back Door Slam's acclaimed 2007 debut Roll Away, he has released multiple Top 5 Billboard Blues albums and earned praise from guitar icons including Peter Frampton, who called him "the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century," and Joe Satriani, who hailed him as "my favorite modern bluesman."
