Within the mountains that surround Waterville Valley exist a number of New England's highest peaks - The Denali Challenge is to hike five of these peaks in one weekend! The ultimate challenge is to hike the five peaks equaling 20,000 feet (Denali is at 20,328') claiming the title "Alive After Five".
