Then, buckle up for a screening of the thought-provoking film Don’t Look Up, blending humor and urgency in a story about humanity’s response to an impending global crisis.

About the Speaker:
Mike Carmon was a weather observer and meteorologist at the Mount Washington Observatory’s historic summit weather station for nearly a decade. Before returning to MWOBS in 2024, he worked as Director of Programs at a burgeoning White Mountain Science, Inc. (WMSI). Currently, Mike plays a key role in the mission of MWOBS to maintain its mountaintop weather station and support weather and climate research. Mike is also active in the scientific skeptic community, and harbors a deep passion for science communication and education.

About the Film:
