Overview

Since 2018, GA-20 has been at the forefront of the traditional Blues revival. With their raw, authentic sound, the trio guitarist Matt Stubbs, vocalist/guitarist Cody Nilsen, and drummer Josh Kiggans’ raft records that reflect their love for the electric Blues, Country, and Rock ‘n’ Roll intersection. Drawing inspiration from legends like Howlin’ Wolf, Otis Rush, and Junior Wells, GA-20 brings a fresh, modern twist to timeless Blues traditions.

Known for their high-energy performances and vintage instruments, GA-20’s commitment to traditional recording techniques captures the raw emotion of their sound. Their work has earned them 3x #1 Billboard Blues chart positions, 4x Boston Music Awards, and numerous accolades at the Blues Music Awards and Blues Blast Awards.

“GA-20 still sound exactly like GA-20 even with a new vocalist. It’s still the same electric blues sound we’ve come to love from the band, just a little different, more of a tweak than anything else.” – If It’s Too Loud.
