Overview
The Concord Coachmen Chorus featuring 2 nationally renowned Barbershop quartets: Brouhaha and Boardwalk.
This fall, something special is happening in Concord. For the first time in many years, the Concord Coachmen Chorus is bringing our annual show to a Saturday night, transforming the historic Concord City Auditorium into a vibrant gathering place for music lovers, families,
and anyone who could use an evening of joy.
On October 3rd, the lights will rise, the pitch pipe will sound, and the auditorium will fill with the unmistakable warmth of live a cappella harmony.
This year’s concert blends tradition, innovation, and pure entertainment — a celebration of community, connection, and the magic that happens
when voices come together with purpose.
For more than half a century, the Concord Coachmen have been a musical home for singers across New Hampshire and a source of comfort, laughter, and inspiration for audiences throughout the region. Our 2026 program features a rich mix of classic barbershop favorites, heartfelt ballads, energetic uptunes, and reflective moments that invite you to breathe, smile, and simply enjoy.
The Coachmen bring more than harmony — we bring camaraderie. Our performances feel like a shared experience, a reminder that music is at its best when it’s honest, welcoming, and full of heart. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering barbershop for the first time,
you’ll feel right at home.
Bold, expressive, and musically adventurous, Boardwalk adds a thrilling dimension to this year’s show. Known for their theatrical flair and impeccable vocal blend, Boardwalk pushes the boundaries of traditional a cappella by incorporating musical instruments into their harmonies, creating a soundscape that is both unexpected and deeply engaging.
Headlining the guest lineup is Brouhaha and we are so excited to welcome our featured guests to the stage. The group's name is a play on the word "brouhaha," which means "a noisy disturbance." The members of this quartet want to create a "noisy disturbance" with their music, and they hope to inspire others to do the same as they are passionate about sharing the joy of barbershop singing with others.
