Herbal Medicine Workshop

Overview

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Herbal Medicine Workshop – Join us for a hands-on herbal medicine workshop where you will learn how to make medicinal herbal oils and salves using simple traditional methods. This welcoming herbal medicine workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about making their own natural remedies

In this herbal medicine workshop, we will explore the healing qualities of herbs such as St. John’s Wort, Comfrey, Calendula, and other traditional plant allies. These herbs have long been used to support skin health and promote healing. You will learn several easy ways to infuse herbs into oils, including both quick and slow methods that can be repeated at home.

Next, this herbal medicine workshop will show you how to turn those infused oils into soothing salves, ointments, and balms. The process is simple, practical, and easy to recreate in your own kitchen.

During the herbal medicine workshop, we will make three helpful herbal remedies together:
• A skin and wound-healing salve for chapped skin, minor wounds, and diaper rash.
• A warming herbal muscle rub to help ease sore muscles and tension.
• A moisturizing herbal lip balm for daily use and protection.

This herbal medicine workshop offers a relaxed space to learn, create, and connect. You will leave with the three remedies we make together. You will also gain the knowledge to continue making herbal medicines at home. These preparations can become the start of your own herbal first-aid kit.
