Overview

Celebrate Irish heritage in New Hampshire at the NH Irish Festival on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Concord. Organized by the New Hampshire-Ireland Trade Council, the festival’s main celebration will take place at Bank of NH Stage, 16 S. Main Street, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is free and open to the public. The event will feature musical performances by Clare Fraser & Simon Lace, Castlebay and Jocie Nangle; Irish step dancing by In The Field Irish Dancers; and an appearance by Cynthia Neale, author of the Irish Dresser series and other novels exploring Irish heritage in the United States. Irish-themed food and beverages will also be available.

Red River Theatres will also screen The Secret of Kells, an animated film inspired by Irish folklore, with tickets available through the theater here: https://redrivertheatres.org/film/the-secret-of-kells/.

Established in 2024, the New Hampshire-Ireland Trade Council works to advance trade and investment ties, promote business and academic exchanges, and initiate joint action on policy issues of mutual interest between New Hampshire and Ireland. Support for the festival comes from the New Hampshire-Ireland Trade Council, Irish Electric Corp., an electrical contracting company based in Hopkinton, and the University of New Hampshire, with additional support from the Hon. Steve Shurtleff and the Hon. Jeb Bradley.
