Overview

-- Opening Reception / Meet the Artist: Friday, August 7 / 5 - 8pm --

Between lines and breath // works by Mina Kim // on exhibit August 7 - September 27, 2026
Mina Kim emphasizes the irreplaceable power of the human hand. Her twisting, knotting, and weaving transforms wire and everyday materials into meditative, large-scale forms that span sculpture, painting, and installation. Her work is a quiet but persistent assertion of endurance, craft, and human presence in an increasingly automated world.

the drop falls // works by Elsie Kagan // on exhibit August 7 - September 27, 2026
Elsie Kagan's lush, gestural oil paintings begin with her hand but evolve through collaboration with AI. Her layered landscapes are never real places — they explore climate anxiety, cultural upheaval, and the tension between material mark-making and algorithmic processing. Water is a recurring metaphor in her work, reflecting life, reflection, and the cycles of creation and dissolution.

Abundance // works by Betsy Weisberg and Amy Green VanDeventer // on exhibit August 1 - 30
Works inspired by the landscapes and seasonal rhythms of the North Shore. Hand-built stoneware vessels are paired with sculpted botanical forms that reflect local harvests, native plants, and the coastal environment.
