Raquel Hawkins is a nationally touring country artist from the Hudson Valley, New York, known for blending country grit, rock and roll energy, and heartfelt storytelling with powerhouse vocals. She first gained attention with her debut single “Run Towards the Highway,” which peaked at #32 after winning a ReverbNation contest and led to radio visits across the U.S. Hawkins has opened for multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer and performed at major festivals alongside artists like Kane Brown, Dierks Bentley, and Thomas Rhett. She continues to tour nationally with her band and has appeared on television programs including Today in Nashville, where she performed her original song “Makes Me Stronger,” delivering high-energy live shows that are both authentic and electrifying.
Relax into summer evenings at Strawbery Banke with live music set among historic houses and gardens. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy acoustic, Americana-inspired music (and beyond).
