Overview

New Hampshire played an important role in the American Revolution, however is often overshadowed by Massachusetts involvement. Did you know Paul Revere’s first ride to warn the patriots that the British were coming, was to Portsmouth in December of 1774? How about that nearly ⅔ of the troops at the Battle of Bunker Hill were from New Hampshire - including troops from Wilton! Come learn about New Hampshire’s Revolutionary War story with Mary Adams of the New Hampshire Historical Society.
