September 11 memorial Walk
Overview
Jackson, New Hampshire will once again join a nationwide program launched by the Department of Defense for a commemorative walk for our victims, survivors and their families of September 11, 2001 as well as a show of support to our military men and women who serve this great nation and our Police, Fire & Rescue Personnel. The Jackson New Hampshire walk will be held on Thursday, September 11th at 5:00 PM. The walk will begin at the Jackson Covered Bridge located at the intersection of route 16 and 16A in Jackson, New Hampshire.
Participants should meet at 4:30 PM and be ready to complete a 1.1 mile walk around the Jackson, New Hampshire loop. Immediately following: the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag, Singing of the National Anthem, a few non-political remarks and a moment of silence the walk will begin promptly at 5 PM. This walk is a silent walk as a united people proudly saluting our heroes and remembering all who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Following the walk J-Town Deli & Country Store has invited all Military, Police, Fire & Rescue for a light breakfast as a way of support for your services to all of us. Family & Friends are welcome at regular cost.
