Stained Glass Candle Holder Class with Sue Ries
Overview
In this relaxing and fun two-day class, students will cut, foil, and solder a beautiful stained glass candle holder. On Saturday, choose one of the four supplied patterns along with all the materials you will need, including a battery-operated candle, and prepare your pieces for assembly. The next day, you’ll solder your pieces and complete the steps to finish your candle holder. Add in the supplied candle and light it up! Basic stained glass construction will be taught and you will go home with a finished piece that is ready to display!
Students will need to bring: cork board at least 18 x 24 inches, masking tape, apron, scissors, thick latex gloves (such as dishwashing gloves, NOT disposable), safety glasses (if you wear glasses you do not need safety glasses), very casual clothes and covered shoes (NO SANDALS), and a gallon-size zip lock bag (additional zip lock bags may also come in handy for storing solder or foil).
Tuition is $80 per student with a $75 materials fee paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Wednesday, October 14th.
