Overview

For nearly a decade, The Cold Stares captivated audiences worldwide as a powerhouse duo, delivering blistering live performances that defied their minimalist guitar-and-drums setup. In 2023, the band embraced a new direction, adding a third member and channeling the classic power trio sound on their explosive album, Voices. Praised by Classic Rock Magazine as one of the best albums of 2023, Voices marked a bold new chapter for the band.

Building on this success, The Cold Stares recorded their highly anticipated album The Southern in Memphis, set for release in spring 2024. With their hard-hitting mix of Blues, Rock, and Southern grit, they?ve toured alongside Joe Bonamassa, Rival Sons, Larkin Poe, and others.

American Songwriter praised their “hard-won commitment, honesty, and intensity,” while No Depression called their sound a ‘roots rocking firestorm.’ Their music has also featured in major campaigns, including ESPN, Dodge, and Cyberpunk 2077.
