Overview

On September 9-12, 2026, between 8 pm and 3 am, two huge light beams will reach three miles into the sky from the top of Mount Washington, New England’s tallest peak at 6,288 feet, and will be visible from within a radius of 135 miles around the summit. The Honor Summit is a 9/11 25th anniversary tribute honoring veterans, firefighters and first responders.
