Blood transfusions are a miracle of modern medicine. 1 in 7 people who come to an Emergency Room will need a blood transfusion, and it takes 38,000 donations every day to maintain a healthy blood supply in the U.S. In the last ten years, there's been a 20% decrease in blood donors. American Red Cross will share about the need for blood donors and answer your questions about donating, eligibility, and the millions of people who benefit from this life-saving medicine.
