Overview

Will Dailey’s seventh album Boys Talking is a departure from typical release strategies. Instead of streaming platforms, the album is available through vinyl, CD, or direct download from Dailey himself, aiming to create a more personal and joyful sharing process. He describes music as a joyful expression of self that connects us to other people. Hailing from Boston, Dailey blends Americana, psychedelia, blues, rock, funk, and folk, drawing comparisons to artists like Cass McCombs and Jeff Tweedy. Throughout his career, he has performed with Eddie Vedder, Peter Buck, and Jakob Dylan. Boys Talking, partly funded by a local arts grant, features a stellar group of musicians, including Juliana Hatfield and Alisa Amador, recorded live to capture a sense of camaraderie. Dailey sees this album as a culmination of his creative journey, bringing together his vision as a musician, writer, and performer.
