Explore a Season:

Snowmobile Conditions

March 22, 2018

Well the last storm missed us and I do believe that Spring is arriving.  Spring riding can be very enjoyable when there is enough snow coverage.  Please don’t ride in areas that are not snow covered or wet as it damages the ground and will lead to trail closures.  The warmer weather and longer days also lead to trail conditions changing frequently so be prepared.

Many clubs have ceased grooming and have started to close gates.  If you come to a closed gate, turn around!  The Concord to Lincoln Rail Corridor is now CLOSED as well.  It is now considered an ACTVIE rail bed and it is ILLEGAL to be on it.

Next week will be our last trail report for this season.  A big thank you to all of the landowners who allow us to utilize their land.  Please respect landowners by staying on the designated trails, carrying out what you carry in, and following snowmobile laws.  We also need to thank all of the clubs.  Of course join the clubs where you ride so you get the discount and so they get registration monies, but also volunteer your time.  The clubs need people to help maintain trails, meet with landowners, man fundraisers, help in snack shacks, and provide us with trail condition info; and they need it all year long!

Stay off of lakes and ponds as they are most likely no longer safe.  For more info see: Stay Safe on the Ice.

Note that if an area is not listed below it should be considered as no reportable riding conditions at this time.  You may want to check with local clubs for trail status and conditions before going out.
