Winter Carnival, Bretton Woods
January 18-21, 2019
Looking for a little nostalgia? The Bretton Woods Winter Carnival hosts paper snowflake making sessions, and serves soda fountain floats when you come in from the slopes! And they invite families to get cozy and enjoy games, movies, s’mores, stories and more around the Omni Mount Washington Resort.

Winter Carnival, White Park, Concord

Got sweet snowman-building skills? Grab you gloves and get over to the annual Concord Winter Carnival to compete! Then warm up by the bonfire or sweat it out in the ice skating races or Ugly Sweater 5K!  

Jackson Snow Sculpting Competition, Jackson
Friday, January 26, 2018, 5 pm - Sunday, January 28, 2018, 12 pm
The 17th New Hampshire Sanctioned & Jackson Invitational Snow Sculpting Competition is much more than incredible craftsmanship. It’s also a celebration of the season, complete with skiing and riding, campfires, marshmallow roasting, a scavenger hunt and more.   

Keene Ice & Snow Festival, Keene
Saturday, February 3, 2018, 10 am - 4 pm
You won’t believe what can be carved out of a block of ice or crafted from a mound of snow—all in the name of winter fun! There’s great food and tax-free shopping to be had, too.

Mount Washington Valley Chocolate Festival, Intervale

Confection-ately known as “Sweetest Day on the Trails,” the Mount Washington Valley Chocolate Festival is every bit as good as it sounds. Which might be why it’s been around for 29 years and counting!
