Santa's Village

What better way to get your fix of holiday fun than with a trip to Santa’s Village in Jefferson!  Santa is ready and waiting to greet you and Mrs. Claus is on hand with a heaping helping of hospitality and warm wassail for all the guests.  When you visit during the holidays be sure to stay ‘til after dark when the beautiful lighting displays a sense of well-being and warmth, especially on those cooler nights.   Dress warm as it gets snuggly cold on the Skyway Sleigh Monorail and the Christmas Ferris Wheel.  Up to 18 rides are operating and the festivities are all geared to the holidays at hand.  Open weekends only through December 18th.  Admission is $31 for ages four and up, children three and younger are free.


Santa’s Big Party at Charmingfare Farm  
Head to Charmingfare Farm in Candia this holiday season for Santa’s Big Party!  Hop on the horse-drawn ride that will deliver you to the secret party location.  Santa will be there spinning your favorite tunes!  An assortment of holiday performers and costumed characters will be on hand to mix and mingle.  Enjoy sugar cookies and a cup of hot cocoa as you sit around a bonfire.  Be sure to climb aboard the Tractor Train Ride before you leave to see Santa’s reindeer!  Open weekends in December.  Admission is $19 per person.


Christmas on the Farm   
Get the whole family together for a fun-filled Christmas on the Farm celebration at East Hill Farm in Troy!  Try your hand at cow and goat milking, visit the animals, collect eggs, take a pony ride and top it off with holiday crafting including an ornament and edible Christmas trees! Yum!  There will also be s’mores ‘round the campfire and pictures with Santa in the barn!  Don’t forget your bathing suit if you’d like to take a dip at the farm’s indoor pool!  A buffet lunch and bottomless cookie jar are also included in your day of fun at the farm.  Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for children ages 2-15, and under age 2 are free.  


Santa’s Holiday Express  
Head to North Conway this holiday season and hop aboard Santa’s Holiday Express! Passengers will be riding the rails with Santa himself and of course his mischievous elves.  Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and cookies as you wind your way down to Conway and back.  Trains depart from the Conway Scenic Railroad November 25 – 27, December 3, 4, 10, 11, and 17 -23.  Adults:  Coach $17, First Class $21, Dome $25.50; Children (4-12): Coach $12, First Class $16, Dome $21.


Santa Express
All aboard the Ho-Ho-Hobo Santa Express this holiday season!  Trains depart from the Hobo Junction Station in Lincoln beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving and operating weekends until just before Christmas.  The station cars are decked out in seasonal attire and the folks here have made special arrangements to have Santa Claus and his Elves join the fun for each and every trip.  On board passengers are treated to hot chocolate and a box of holiday cookies, plus each child receives a special gift from Santa.  Advance reservations suggested.  Train fair: coach class:  $20 for all ages 3 and up; first class $25 for all ages 3 and up; children 2 and under are free.


Journey to the North Pole
Get the family together and hop aboard for a magical Journey to the North Pole. This train ride offers a truly unique experience that only happens in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  On board the train, passengers will be served delicious hot chocolate along with some of Santa’s favorite treats.  Upon arriving at the North Pole, elves will escort you to the North Pole Theater to hear a dramatic reading of the classic poem “The Night Before Christmas,” and a visit from Santa himself.  Each child receives a special gift on the train ride back to the station.  Trains run afternoons and evenings on weekends throughout November and December.  Coach seats: $47; First-Class seats:  $57; Dome Seats (North Conway only): $67; Premier seats (Lincoln only): $67.
