Open Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Extensive changing exhibits on New Hampshire's boating heritage and life on its lakes and rivers. Family activity center with hands-on acitivities for young people. Museum store with boating heritage related and New England made items. Educational, hands-on programs during the season include as Boat Building, Sailing, and Model Yacht Kit Building Class and Sailing (remote-controlled sailboats). The Boathouse Tour is a "must do" signature event. Walking access to a lovely town beach behind the museum for swimming and picnics, plus a rail trail for hiking and biking. The Museum's boat, the Millie B is mahogany, replica 1928 Hacker Craft, that takes visitors for a 45 minute narrated ride in Wolfeboro Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee.
