"We tell Portsmouth stories." A National Historic Landmark, Discover Portsmouth serves as the cultural gateway to the city's rich history. We feature changing exhibitions related to the city as well as a 12 minute video depicting the history and transition Portsmouth has taken to become what it is today. Discover Portsmouth, operated by the Portsmouth Historical Society, is located at 10 Middle Street. We are open April through December, daily, 10-5pm.
