Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway (260 Tramway Drive, Franconia) Hop aboard the first aerial tram in North America, and in to minutes you’ll be 4100 feet up Cannon Mountain for a 360-degree view of Franconia Notch. On a clear day see into four states and Canada. Allow some extra time to explore the scenic walking trails at the summit. 

Zealand Falls A great hike for families or anyone looking for a shorter day hike in the White Mountains. About 5.5 miles round trip, this trail takes hikers by streams and brooks, over wooded boardwalks, up stone stairs to views of Zeacliff and access to Zealand Falls.

The Sunrise Shack, (644 White Mountain Highway, Glen) Step inside this local favorite to a rustic vibe and comfort food of all kinds. Well known for their home cooked breakfasts, the lunch menu gets rave reviews too, packed with creative burgers and sandwiches.

Living Shores Aquarium (850 Pinkham Notch Road, NH – 16, Glen) An indoor adventure where visitors can discover the wonders of the ocean any time of the year.  Hands-on experiences get you up close with creatures of the sea, including the touch tanks, featuring sting rays and sharks, sea urchins and snails. And the otters are an exhibit you won’t want to miss.

Ledge Brewing Company (15 Town Hall Road, Intervale) Sample the creative concoctions their brewing up at this craft brewery and tasting room. Located at the base of the Presidential Range in the Mt Washington Valley, sip with a view!  

New England Ski Museum (2628 White Mountain Highway, North Conway) In a region with deep roots in skiing, it only makes sense to have a museum dedicated to that history.  Despite its small size, this museum offers a variety of exhibits including Tuckerman’s Ravine, the 10th Mountain Division, local ski legends, old skis and equipment, clothing and much more.

White Mountain Cupcakery (Settlers Green Outlet Village, NH-16, North Conway) Talk about a tasty treat! These creative cupcakes are sure to satisfy just about any sweet tooth.  Fresh baked daily, and so many fun flavors to choose from the hardest part will be deciding which ones to take home.

Paddling on the Saco (North Conway) There’s nothing quite like getting your feet wet on a summer tubing trip down the Saco River! Get family and friends together and explore this river that features sandy beaches, rope swings and even some small rapids. Local outfitters Saco River Tubing Center and  Saco Bound Canoe & Kayak rent tubes, canoes, kayaks and SUPs.
