Arts Alley, - Concord
Opened August 2025
Arts Alley is officially open in New Hampshire’s Capital City. The vibrant multi-venue destination is located in the heart of downtown and blends, art, entertainment, and community in one convenient corridor. The new destination features The Friendly Toast, an all day restaurant, Rose & Rye, a retro-style train car diner offering nostalgic bites, rooftop bar featuring an Airstream camper converted into a bar, and the Main Venue, an elegant indoor event space for workshops, performances and private gatherings.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Portsmouth Downtown – Portsmouth
Opened August 2025
This new 4-story property in downtown Portsmouth and features 116 guest rooms. The hotel offers on-property amenities such as complimentary hot breakfast buffet, Weekly Welcome Home Wednesday Evening Social, fitness center including a Peloton Bike, onsite laundry facilities, onsite storage, onsite EV chargers, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Lake Estate on Winnisquam – Tilton
Open September 2025
Open as of September, this is New Hampshire’s newest luxury escape, bringing world class resort & spa amenities to the heart of the Lakes Region. Inspired by the grand lake houses and White Mountain hotels of the past, this 114 room independent resort is set on 36 pristine acres with over 3,400 feet of private shoreline on Lake Winnisquam. Beyond luxury rooms and fine dining, The Lake Estate offers extensive amenities for both relaxation and recreation, including private beaches, an infinity pool, hot tubs, tennis & pickleball courts, orchards, gardens, and walking trails.

Conveniently located in downtown Concord, just steps from shops, restaurants and cultural destinations like the NH State House and Capital Center for the Arts, the DoubleTree is positioned to be a central hub for business travelers and vacationers exploring the capital region.
The Hop at Dartmouth – Hanover
Opening October 2025
Art is essential, and the new Hop makes art central to the Dartmouth experience. The Daryl and Steven Roth Wing is the 15,000-square-foot home of dramatic new spaces for creation and performance, including a black box theater and the first-ever dedicated dance studio in the Hop, right at the heart of the vibrant Dartmouth Arts District. Take a free tour of the new Center guided by members of the Hop team. They’ll share the architectural inspiration, behind-the-scenes stories of the building process and discuss how design and technology can partner to create 21st-century spaces for creation and performance. Each tour lasts about an hour and culminates in a unique experience.
Seasonal Attraction Updates
Alpine Adventures Hiker Shuttle – Lincoln
Hiking shuttle services are available for trailheads in Lincoln, Woodstock, Franconia Notch, Kinsman Notch, and Waterville Valley. They are able to accommodate 10-12 hikers at a time depending on hiking gear. Reservations can be made online
Mutiny on the Mount Performed on the Mount Washington Cruise - Laconia
The Mount Washington Cruises sets sail with themed events and programs throughout its season including their standard narrated scenic tours of Lake Winnipesaukee, haunted tours, cocktail cruises, Sunday brunches, and Sunset Dinner Cruises. Additionally, this famous attraction offers a full schedule of special event programs such as craft beer festivals and murder mysteries. During select dates in September and October new this year, the 230-foot (70-meters) m/s Mount Washington vessel from the 1800s will add theatre to its cruise programs in partnership with the Winni Players Community Theatre. Actors perform a lively comedy “Mutiny on the Mount,” set in the 1920s and written in 1952 by Meredith, New Hampshire native Bob Montana, the genius behind the Archie comics. This family-friendly event offers an all-in-one dinner cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, a sunset view, and live theatre.
New Downhill Mountain Biking at Loon Mountain Resort - Lincoln
In the heart of the White Mountains, Kancamagus 8, the most technologically advanced chairlift in the eastern US and the Governor Adams Lodge, is the new home of downhill mountain biking at Loon Mountain Resort. Recent additions include expanded downhill trails plus Ninja Wild, an outdoor ninja course packed with 10 wilderness-themed features.
Anniversaries
25 Stories for 250 Years, NH Heritage Museum Trail
Each month leading up to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the New Hampshire Heritage Museum Trail will share a story about the unique and interesting people, places, and events that Trail museums celebrate. These stories weave together New Hampshire’s rich heritage and highlight the ways in which New Hampshire’s story is America’s story. Learn more about the Granite State and everything that its cultural institutions have to offer.
NH Highland Games & Festival – 50th anniversary
Held annually in September at Loon Mountain Resort in the White Mountains, this is one of the largest and most diverse Highland Games held in North America. This year marks its 50th anniversary to help celebrate the milestone – all pipers are invited to participate in a performance on Saturday, September 20, to help break the Guiness World Record for most pipers on a single performance. This event offers something for everyone from Scottish music, dance, food, and fun to heavy athletics, sheep dog trials, and crowd-favorite, massed bands.
Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway Retirement Celebration – 45 years
Say farewell to a New Hampshire icon on Sunday October 26th! Stop by Cannon Mountain for a special Retirement Party honoring the 2nd generation Aerial Tramway, which has carried generations of visitors to the summit since 1980. This historic tram—the only one of its kind in the state—has offered breathtaking views of the White Mountains for over four decades, and now it’s time to give it a proper sendoff. Enjoy a day filled with memories, mountain views, live music, family activities, and special tributes to the tram that became a legend.
